Twenty-six fire outbreaks have been reported across Albanian territory within the last 24 hours. Of these incidents, four are currently active, and two others are being monitored. In response to the widespread incidents, the Ministry of Defence has deployed significant resources.
To manage the situation, 315 operational forces and 25 fire trucks have been engaged. Additionally, the operation has utilized four helicopters and 75 armed forces personnel for support. The most challenging situation has been identified in the Mali i Dajtit area, specifically in the direction of Qafë-Priska, where authorities have noted both reactivations and an expansion of the flames.
The effort to control the fire in this location involves 15 firefighters, 9 AdZM forces, and 20 FA personnel. Furthermore, multiple fires remain active within the Dibër district. Specific locations requiring attention include Qafë e Helmës, Vajkal, and Sllatinë.
In the Vajkal area alone, a total of 38 forces have been mobilized to address the ongoing fire. The coordinated response underscores the scale of the emergency across Albania, with significant resources deployed over the past hours to contain the various fire outbreaks.
