Kosovo police intervened on Sunday following reports concerning an incident at a park in Pristina. Authorities responded after receiving information that a woman was allegedly involved in threatening children with a machete while also damaging the park’s equipment. Upon arriving at the scene, a unit of the police encountered the individual, and a machete was subsequently seized during the operation.
Following the incident, the Basic Prosecution in Pristina issued a confirmation stating that the prosecutor on duty had ordered the detention of an individual, identified by the initials V.B., for a period of 48 hours. The woman is currently under investigation for alleged actions that involved the use of a machete against children within the park setting. Legal authorities are investigating her for two primary criminal offenses under the law of the Republic of Kosovo.
