The total investment for the project is valued at 92.7 million denars, excluding VAT. This undertaking is anticipated to enhance the working conditions for medical staff and improve the overall experience for patients, alongside implementing substantial energy efficiency upgrades across the entire complex.
The initiative is formalized through a Grant Agreement signed between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health. This sub-project, titled “Reconstruction of the ISHP University Clinic of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation – Skopje, with energy efficiency measures,” will be managed by the Project Unit operating under the Ministry of Finance. Crucially, the necessary funding has been secured through multiple sources.
The financial backing includes grant funds provided by the World Bank, specifically channeled through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in addition to investment grants sourced from the Investment Framework. The agreement underscores a collaborative effort between key government bodies and international financial institutions. The completion of these upgrades at the specialized clinic is expected to modernize its infrastructure, ensuring that the facility meets contemporary standards for patient care and operational sustainability.
