The collision occurred on the Vorë-Fushë Krujë axis when two vehicles reportedly struck each other head-on. According to initial reports, the accident was the result of a maneuver involving a “Benz” vehicle that was traveling from the Rinasi direction toward Fushë-Krujë.

The “Benz” subsequently collided with a “Land Rover” traveling in the opposing direction, moving from north to south. The impact from the severe collision proved fatal for the journalist, Xhesjon Zogu, who died at the scene.
