Saga me 10 km të autostradës “Shkup-Bllacë”, zv.ministrja Zekolli: Presim sinjal nga BERZH që të fillojnë punimet

Second Phase of ‘Skopje-Blace’ Highway Segment Set to Begin Following Government Approval

Work on the second 10-kilometer segment of the ‘Skopje-Blace’ highway is expected to commence following confirmation from the relevant authorities. According to Deputy Minister Kaltrina Zekolli, the government has received signals indicating the start of construction. The company selected through the tender process is a local firm.

The project, as previously approved, will see the second segment of the highway designated as a motorway, addressing concerns raised about potential discrepancies between the project’s scope and previous reports suggesting a shift to a magisterial road status, which could increase costs. Transport and Connectivity Ministry officials, including Minister Aleksandër Nikollovski and Deputy Minister Zekolli, stated that construction is anticipated to begin by at least January 2026. However, a firm timeline has not yet been established, and the anticipated start date has not materialized.
