A man was arrested in Pristina on Wednesday following a police operation targeting drug trafficking. The individual, apprehended on Rruga “2 Korriku,” is facing charges of drug sales, dealing, and smuggling. Following his arrest, the suspect was taken to a local police station for a thorough investigation and drug control procedures.
During the search, law enforcement officers confiscated a significant quantity of cocaine. The Kosovo Police, through its Directorate for Human Security (DHTN), led the operation. Authorities confirmed that 17.4 grams of cocaine were seized at the time of the sale.
Additionally, the police noted that the individual involved was found to be operating without the required documentation, resulting in a fine. The arrest highlights ongoing efforts by the DHTN to combat drug-related crimes within Kosovo. Investigations into the network and individuals involved are currently ongoing.
