Suhareka, Kosovo – A 48-year-old man from Mushtisht is suspected of dying as a result of a blockage in his breathing airways caused by food, according to police reports. The incident occurred on April 20, 2026. At approximately 12:20 PM, the Municipal Center for Family Medicine (QKMF) in Suhareka received the man, identified as B.H., who was brought in without vital signs, confirmed police spokesperson Shaqir Bytyqi stated for Gazeta Express.
According to Bytyqi, the guardian doctor determined the death was likely due to a blockage of the man’s airways by ingested material. The death was officially confirmed at 12:50 PM. Initial reports indicate the victim was at home when his condition rapidly deteriorated, leading to a loss of consciousness.
