Hot Air Balloon Lands in Temecula Resident’s Yard
Temecula, California – A hot air balloon carrying thirteen people landed safely in the front yard of a house on Saturday, surprising the homeowner and his family. The balloon, piloted by a man, descended onto a small lawn adjacent to the property. Hunter Perrin, the homeowner, stated he was unaware of the balloon’s presence until a neighbor alerted him.
“I was watching television and my wife was doing yoga,” Perrin explained to the Associated Press. “There was a man standing in front of my door saying, ‘They just landed.’ What? I was very surprised.”
The balloon, which had a pilot and twelve passengers in its basket, touched down on Perrin’s lawn, measuring approximately three meters in width.
The incident occurred while Perrin was at home. Following the landing, the group of people were relieved to be safely on the ground. The event was described as “unbelievable, like something from a Disney story” by Perrin.
Authorities have not yet released information regarding the cause of the balloon’s deviation from its intended flight path. The incident involved a house and a balloon with thirteen people.
