A Turkish analyst strongly criticized Kerem Akturkoglu’s behavior regarding Kosovo.

Erman Toroglu, a previous Turkish footballer and FIFA referee, has voiced considerable disapproval of Turkish national team player Kerem Akturkoglu following the match against Kosovo. Currently working as a sports commentator and columnist, Toroglu delivered a sharp critique of Akturkoglu’s actions. During the game, Toroglu argued that Kerem should not have made contact with Kreshnik Hajrizin using his hand.

He further pointed out that Akturkoglu also struck Hajrizin with his foot, an action that provoked frustration within the Kosovo team and their supporters. Toroglu initially asserted that the Turkish team was effectively playing with a numerical disadvantage due to Kerem’s performance. He described observing a competitive match where both teams demonstrated mutual respect, yet Kerem’s aggressive behavior disrupted this dynamic.

Toroglu noted Kerem’s comment, urging the opponent to “back off,” and suggested this action fueled the Kosovo players and fans. Toroglu emphasized the inappropriateness of this incident, stating that it should not have occurred. He added that the entire Kosovo squad reacted with justified concern, moving towards the turkish team in response.
