A dedicated group was created to assess submissions for positions on the Kosovo Judicial Council (KGJK). This announcement was made by Gazeta Express on March 30, 2026, at 13:01. The initiative resulted in the formation of a five-person working group tasked with scrutinizing applications.
This specialized group is comprised of representatives from several key committees. Specifically, it includes members from the Committee for Legislation, Mandates, Immunity, Parliament Rules and Oversight of the Anti-Corruption Agency. Blerta Deliu-Kodra leads this group, supported by Vigan Qorroli from LDK, Besnik Tahiri from the Anti-Corruption Agency, Erxhan Galushi representing the Albanian community, and Ljiljana Stefanovic from the Serbian List.
Chairman Parvsim Gruda clarified the group’s responsibilities, suggesting that each parliamentary faction nominate a single candidate. Currently, there are 23 applications under review. The purpose of this working group is to carefully evaluate these applications and ultimately determine the most suitable individuals to serve on the Kosovo Judicial Council.
