Flamur Fetahaj Elected Chairman of AAK Branch in Gjakova
Flamur Fetahaj has been selected as the chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) branch in Gjakova, a municipality currently governed by the party. The announcement was made by AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj, who offered his congratulations to Fetahaj. Haradinaj also acknowledged the contributions of Ardian Gjini, previously seeking the role of chairman.
Haradinaj indicated that he would no longer lead the AAK, a decision that paved the way for Fetahaj’s appointment. “Gjakova of knowledge, culture and patriotism, for many mandates has trusted the leadership of the Alliance with the municipality,” Haradinaj stated. Under the leadership of Ardian Gjini, who has been recognized as a valued figure in local government, Gjakova has reportedly developed as a city through dedicated work.
The AAK branch chairman’s selection reflects the party’s continued presence and influence within the municipality. The appointment of Flamur Fetahaj as chairman signifies a new phase for the AAK in Gjakova, building upon the established legacy of leadership under Gjini.
