Ohrid, North Macedonia – On May 12, 2026, at approximately 20:00, police officers from the Criminal Police Department – Department for Illegal Drug and Weapons Trafficking of the SPB Ohrid executed a raid on a residence in Ohrid. The operation, conducted following initial information and consultation with the Public Basic Prosecutor’s Office of Ohrid, was authorized by the Basic Court of Ohrid. The raid targeted a property belonging to I.J.
(31), a resident of Kercova. During the search, authorities discovered and seized marijuana. Mr.
J. was subsequently taken into police custody and formally interrogated. “Following the complete documentation of the case, charges will be filed against him for relevant criminal offenses,” stated the Ministry of Interior (MBI).
