Ferizaj, Kosovo – The Ferizaj Regional Police reported a significant increase in enforcement activity during April 2026, issuing a total of 1,753 fines to drivers exceeding permitted speed limits and restrictions. The initiative, part of the “Speed is Not Ability, It’s Danger” project, utilized the slogan “Don’t measure life in kilometers per hour” to raise awareness. The campaign focused on addressing unsafe driving behaviors related to excessive speed.
Police officers conducted targeted patrols and utilized speed monitoring equipment to identify and penalize drivers violating established limits.
