There are no long waits at the border crossings.

Traffic Conditions on State Roads Remain Stable, LAMM Reports

Vienna, Austria – The Lower Austrian Road Research Institute (LAMM) reports that traffic on state roads within Lower Austria is currently developing without significant issues. The report, issued today, indicates dry road conditions and average traffic intensity outside of urban centers. At border crossings, particularly those with North Macedonia, there are no reported long delays for entry or exit.

LAMM is advising motorists to maintain a consistent speed and adhere to all established traffic signals. Specifically, the institute recommends careful steering, particularly when navigating roadways through challenging terrain such as gullies, river gorges, and crevices. These areas present a heightened risk of vehicle slippage.

The recommendations apply most acutely to several identified sections, including the Katlanova-Veles, Mavrova-Dibra-Struga, Vinice-Berove, and Kacan-Delceve routes. LAMM emphasizes the importance of prioritizing safety and adhering to recommended driving practices. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and awareness while traveling on state roads.

There is currently no indication of widespread traffic disruptions, but ongoing monitoring is being conducted by LAMM.
