Skopje, North Macedonia – The State Statistical Office reported that the average monthly net wage in North Macedonia reached 46,159 denars (approximately €748.83) in February 2026. This figure represents a 7.2% increase compared to the monthly average recorded in February 2025. The rise in wages was attributed to growth across several key sectors.
Specifically, the Administrative and Supporting Services sector experienced a 12.3% increase, followed by the Mining and Quarrying industry at 10.6%, and Water Supply and Waste Management activities with a 9.4% rise. Conversely, the Agricultural sector saw a decrease in the average monthly net wage in February compared to January. The State Statistical Office emphasized that these figures reflect the ongoing economic activity within North Macedonia.
