Visar Azemi, a member of the Democratic League of Kosovo, has called on the Prosecutor’s Office to halt any intervention in electrical meters, citing concerns about evidence concealment. In a Facebook post, Azemi expressed skepticism regarding the recent replacement of meters by households and residences, particularly when doubts exist about their accuracy. He argues that the swapping of meters by individuals, specifically when significant questions surround their measurement readings, raises substantial concerns about the potential to obscure evidence.
Azemi urges the Prosecutor’s Office to authorize the police to investigate the KEDS meters. His full post emphasizes the need for immediate action, requesting that the Prosecutor’s Office prevent any intervention by KEDS and the Ministry of Industry, Enterprise, and Trade concerning electrical meters until a thorough investigation is completed and all relevant evidence is gathered. The focus remains on the replacement of meters within households and residences.
