Concerns Raised Regarding Police Involvement in KEDS Measurement Dispute
Kosovo Democratic Party (LDK) leader Visar Azemi has expressed concerns regarding the police’s involvement in a case involving the murder of a man and the seizure of evidence related to suspected manipulation of measurements. Speaking on Kosova Live, Azemi stated that the police conducted a seizure, raising suspicions about irregularities in measurements. Azemi argued that citizens deserve to know the cost associated with “unjust” payments made to the Kosovo Electricity Company (KEDS).
He believes KEDS should be required to reimburse these costs. According to Azemi, if a citizen experiences a problem due to inaccurate measurements, and a resolution is offered, the full cost of that injustice – paid “unfairly” to KEDS – must be returned. He characterized the situation as a pre-planned and organized scheme.
