Kosovo and Albania Customs Directors Discuss Continued Cooperation
PRISHTINA – The General Director of Kosovo Customs, Agron Llugaliu, held an official meeting with the Director of Albanian Customs, Besmir Beja, and accompanying colleagues on Tuesday. This marked Director Beja’s first official visit since assuming his role. During the meeting, both directors highlighted the established cooperation between the two customs administrations, characterizing it as deep, stable, and significantly impacting trade facilitation and economic exchange between Kosovo and Albania.
They emphasized the ongoing importance of this relationship for bolstering economic growth. A key focus of the discussion centered on the current operational integration efforts. Specifically, the de-customization process at the Port of Durrës was noted as a crucial element, contributing to streamlined trade flows.
