Several deputies affiliated with the VLEN coalition have been registered on the Parliament’s website as members of the Besa Movement. This includes Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi, along with other VLEN deputies. The website currently lists these deputies as belonging to the Besa Movement, despite their affiliation with VLEN.
It appears there has been a discrepancy in the registration process. Deputies Bekim Qoku, Mimoza Musa, Saranda Imeri-Stafai, Merita Kollçi-Koxhaxhiku, Imerlije Saliu-Fetai, Feride Haxhiu, and Zeqirja Tairi have also been listed as Besa Movement deputies. Parliament officials addressed the issue, stating that they are operating based on the deputies’ declarations.
“We, as the cabinet and administration, operate based on the deputies’ declarations,” they stated. The situation highlights a registration inconsistency that is currently being addressed by the Parliament.
