Vetëvendosje Remains Unconcerned with Osmani’s Shift to LDK
Prishtina – Vetëvendosje (VV) party officials have stated they do not perceive the anticipated alliance between former Vetëvendosje member Vjosa Osmani and the LDK for the upcoming June 7th elections as a significant threat to their electoral prospects. Enver Dugolli, a member of VV, asserted the party’s confidence, stating, “We are not afraid of anyone.” Dugolli indicated he does not anticipate Osmani’s transition to the LDK impacting VV’s existing voter base. “We have the citizen we want by our side,” Dugolli explained.
He further commented on Osmani’s decision, suggesting it represents a return to an environment where her voice was previously unheard. Dugolli noted that Osmani was previously expelled from VV and that leadership under Albin Kurti did not seek to engage with her perspectives. “I don’t know what has changed since that time when they expelled her and did not want to hear her voice,” Dugolli added.
The statement reflects VV’s continued stance of unwavering resolve amidst the evolving political landscape. —
