On January 12, 1999, one of the twelve Italian journalists killed in Bologna, Italy, was Louis Pisha, a reporter for the newspaper La Repubblica. Pisha was killed in a car bomb explosion that occurred on Via Piave, near Venice. The attack resulted in the deaths of twelve Italian journalists and injuries to eighty individuals.
According to preliminary information, Pisha was struck by a shattered windowpane. The window, constructed from a transparent plastic material, unexpectedly broke beneath his weight as he stood near it. Initially, a 12-year-old boy was left suspended after the window’s collapse.
Attempts by bystanders to assist him were unsuccessful, and he subsequently fell from the eighth floor, resulting in his death. Louis Pisha, the 12-year-old boy, did not reside in the building where the incident occurred. The event took place at the location indicated.
