Kosovo Governor Meets with IMF Executive Director

Washington D.C. – Governor Ahmet Ismaili of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (BCK) engaged in a bilateral meeting with the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Mr. Yigit Yaşar, during the Spring Meetings 2026.

Joining the governor were Non-Executive Member of the Board, Ms. Latifi-Jashari, Deputy Governor Mr. Fusha, and other BCK collaborators.

The meeting focused on the current state of Kosovo’s financial sector. Governor Ismaili provided Mr. Yaşar with an update on recent developments, highlighting the resilience of the banking system.
