The Prizren-Prishtina highway has reopened to vehicle traffic. Police officials confirmed the reopening to Gazeta Express. Shaqir Bytyqi, the spokesperson for the Kosovo Police for the Prizren region, stated that the Prizren-Prishtina highway is now open and free for vehicle circulation.
Earlier today, authorities received information regarding a truck fire that occurred on the Suharekë-Duhel section of the highway. The incident took place near the intersection. The highway was temporarily closed while emergency services responded to the situation.
Details regarding the cause of the fire are still under investigation. The Prizren-Prishtina route is now fully operational, allowing for normal traffic flow. Updates on the investigation will be provided as they become available.
