Haradinaj: The annulment of “New Kosovo” is the biggest damage after the war, the Kurti and Mihali factions are responsible.

AAK Leader Criticizes ‘Kosova e Re’ Power Plant Cancellation

Pristina – Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) party, has strongly condemned the recent cancellation of the “Kosova e Re” (New Kosovo) thermal power plant project. Haradinaj described the decision as one of the most significant setbacks for Kosovo following the country’s conflict. The project, slated to provide 500 megawatts of electricity, has been formally terminated.

Haradinaj asserted that this cancellation carries serious repercussions for Kosovo’s energy sector, national security, and political autonomy. He stated that the decision represents “the biggest damage inflicted on Kosovo and its citizens after the war.”

Haradinaj placed primary responsibility for the cancellation on Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his associates. He argued that Kosovo has effectively relinquished a vital energy project.

“The main architect of the cancellation of this project is Albin Kurti and those around him,” Haradinaj stated. The AAK leader expressed concerns about the long-term implications of the cancellation for the stability and development of Kosovo. The decision has sparked debate regarding Kosovo’s energy future and its reliance on external sources.
