Hennessey’s new hypercar has over 2,000 horsepower and a manual transmission.

The Hennessey Venom F5 is recognized as a high-performance hypercar, boasting specifications that include 1,817 horsepower and an operational top speed of 500 km/h. At the recent Goodwood event in the United Kingdom, Hennessey revealed an enhanced variant: the Venom F5-M. The designation “M” signifies the vehicle’s manual transmission, a feature Hennessey initially announced for the F5-M in 2024, promising a manual six-speed gearbox paired with 1,817 horsepower.

The newly revealed production model represents a significant upgrade. The Venom F5-M now generates 2,031 horsepower, derived from its 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. This substantial increase in output positions the vehicle among the most potent production cars globally.

The updated performance figures place the Hennessey model closely within the elite tier of automotive engineering. It ranks near competitors such as the Rimac Nevera R, which produces 2,107 horsepower, and the Koenigsegg Gemera, rated at 2,300 horsepower. The integration of a high-output, manual transmission system alongside the increased horsepower output solidifies the Venom F5-M’s status as a formidable machine in the hypercar segment.
