Vienna, Austria – Environment Minister Muhamet Hoxha reported a productive meeting with his Austrian counterpart, Norbert Totschnig, during discussions focused on bilateral cooperation opportunities. The meeting took place as part of Hoxha’s official visit to Austria. Both ministers agreed on the substantial potential for expanding collaboration between Albania and Austria, particularly concerning capital investments. “The topic of our discussion were the concrete steps we are taking in the green transformation of the environment,” Hoxha stated. “We agreed that there is significant potential for the further expansion of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of capital investments.”
Hoxha highlighted Austria’s recognized expertise in areas such as nature conservation and water and waste management, noting that these practices represent a “model that we can implement directly.” He expressed a desire to strengthen the existing relationship between the two nations.
