Investigations have begun following suspicions of abuse concerning the supply of essential medicines and patient waiting lists at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK). The Basic Prosecution in Pristina announced on May 12, 2026, that it has initiated investigations regarding suspected abuses related to the contract for the supply of essential medicines and the patient waiting lists for interventions. Prosecution spokesperson Kaltrina Shala confirmed the action to “Justice for All,” stating that she had authorized the gathering and verification of information.
