Iranian officials have warned that the country is vulnerable to attacks from Saudi Arabia and its allies.

Iranian officials announced on July 7th the commencement of a significant industrial development project in Al Jubail, a key undertaking focused on refining oil and petrochemicals. The project involves a collaboration with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and is slated for completion within the coming months. Al Jubail is anticipated to become a major contributor to the global industry, focusing on the joint production of various materials.

These include plastics, pulp, and lumber, intended for use in furniture and construction sectors. Following the project’s initiation, reports have surfaced regarding damage to the air and water quality in both Iran and Lindjan e Mesme. Investigations are currently underway to assess the full extent of the impact.

Authorities are evaluating the situation to determine the scope of the damage. The development represents a substantial investment and is expected to bolster regional production capabilities within the petrochemical and materials industries.
