The “Spy Dossier” Telegram channel has reported that among those killed in the An-26 aircraft crash on March 31st in Russian-occupied Crimea, a general was also present. The source indicates that one of the 29 individuals who perished – comprising 23 passengers and 6 crew members – was General-Lieutenant Aleksander Atroshchenko. He previously served as the commander of the Combined Aviation Corps of the Northern Fleet, as well as the former commander of the 45th Air Force and Air Defense Regiment.

The tragic event took place around 18:00 on March 31st, with the aircraft crashing over the territory under Russian control. Authorities have stated that there was no external destructive influence affecting the plane. Preliminary investigations suggest the accident was caused by a technical malfunction.
