Brussels – European Commission Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos stated on Monday that the security of Europe is intrinsically linked to the stability of the Western Balkans region. Following the inaugural ministerial meeting of the Friends of the Western Balkans Group in Bratislava, Slovakia, Kos underscored the need for the European Union to accelerate integration efforts within the region.
