The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is seeking a resolution regarding the handling of historical archives and the victims of the 1999 air disaster. Nënkryetarja e Kuvendit (deputy speaker) Vlora Çitaku, representing the PDK, is urging a unified approach among parliamentarians for the approval of a joint resolution. Çitaku stated that the issue should not be treated as a political matter and called for cooperation among deputies during Friday’s session.
The parliament’s leadership has been unable to agree on the order of business, which will be reviewed by members of the Kosovo Parliament. The planned session aims to address the long-standing concerns surrounding the historical archives and the fate of those affected by the 1999 air disaster.
