The source language text: Kthehen diskutimet për Presidentin, Kurti mbërrin në Kuvend për takimin me Abdixhikun

Prime Minister Albin Kurti arrived at the Parliament building on Wednesday to meet with the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku. The meeting is scheduled to take place shortly. This marks the first discussion regarding the presidential position following the Constitutional Court’s ruling.

The court granted a 34-day timeframe for the election of Kosovo’s new head of state. On March 25th, the Constitutional Court determined that the 34-day period would be allocated for the selection of the president, effectively nullifying a decree issued by President Vjosa Osmani concerning the distribution of parliamentary seats. Kurti has recently announced his intention to hold meetings with the leaders of opposition parties.

Prior to this meeting with Abdixhiku, Kurti stated that he would extend invitations for discussions.
