Kosovo Prime Minister Kurti Participates in Yerevan Summit Discussions

Prime Minister Albin Kurti attended the eighth Summit of the European Political Community, held in Yerevan, Armenia, engaging in discussions focused on critical international challenges. Kurti participated in two panels centered on combating drug trafficking and bolstering democratic resilience against hybrid threats. During the summit, Kurti held a series of significant meetings with leaders from participating nations and representatives of key Euro-Atlantic institutions.

These meetings were described as “important and fruitful” by the Prime Minister. Specifically, Kurti engaged in conversations with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Kaja Kallas, and several national leaders. He held a direct meeting with Kallas at the Yerevan Summit.

Additional attendees included Prime Minister Andrej Plenković of Croatia, Luc Frieden of Luxembourg, Petteri Orpo of Finland, and Prince Albert II of Monaco. The summit provided an opportunity for Kurti to advance Kosovo’s interests on the international stage and foster collaboration on shared concerns. The discussions underscored the ongoing commitment to addressing complex geopolitical issues.
