Kurti did not comment on the OVL protest. UÇK: The exhibition regarding the massacres needs to be corrected.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has remained silent regarding the planned demonstration today by the Organization of War Veterans (OVL-UÇK). The protest arises from the removal of Shkëlzen Gashi, a former advisor to the exhibition, who disseminated inaccurate and fabricated accounts of Serbian atrocities in Kosovo. When questioned by reporters about the exhibition and the ensuing protest, Kurti emphasized the necessity of rectifying the errors present.

He asserted that the exhibition should be expanded to incorporate previously unacknowledged massacres. Kurti believes the exhibition warrants global exposure, particularly to younger generations, to foster a comprehensive understanding of the region’s history. The OVL-UÇK veterans are staging a protest outside parliament, arguing that the exhibition is fundamentally misleading and deficient due to the significant number of massacres it fails to represent.

Kurti has not offered a direct response to the veterans’ concerns, focusing instead on the need for historical accuracy and a more complete presentation of the events.
