The LDK critic Qeverinë for the future: The budget for the future is too small

The LDK party has voiced criticism of the Government of Kosovo’s support for the country’s oil industry. Party spokesman Mustafa stated the LDK intends to divest its holdings in the oil company and TVSH. The party proposes selling its shares for 18% of the company’s profits, which are projected to be 10% of the total profits.

Mustafa highlighted the discrepancy in oil prices, noting that oil in North Macedonia is valued at €1.55 per barrel, while the company’s current profit margin is only 7 cents per barrel. He further asserted that the Government of Kosovo is not actively selling its shares, despite a projected 1.85% profit return. Deputy Janina Ymeri of the LDK encouraged the public to carefully consider the situation and to vote for the LDK party.

She indicated a desire for a thorough examination of the oil company’s performance and its impact on the overall economy. The LDK’s stance centers on maximizing returns from the company’s assets and advocating for a reassessment of the government’s involvement in the oil sector.
