Lebanon says Israeli attacks killed 31 people in one of the deadliest days since the armistice.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that airstrikes attributed to Israel resulted in 31 fatalities and injured 40 individuals on Tuesday. This incident marks one of the deadliest days since the escalation of hostilities within Lebanon began in April. In a formal statement, the ministry detailed the casualties, noting that the deceased and injured included women and children.

The ministry accused Israel of conducting what it termed “a series of massacres” across various locations in southern Lebanon. According to the Ministry of Health’s reports, the toll in Bourj Al-Shamali alone accounted for 14 people killed, including two children and three women. Furthermore, sixteen people were injured in that area, among whom were five children and six women.

In another reported incident in Kawthariyat Al-Raz, five people were killed, and six were injured. These injuries included two children. These figures represent the latest data provided by the Lebanese authorities regarding the impact of the Israeli strikes.

The consistent reporting of civilian casualties underscores the severity of the conflict’s impact on the civilian population across Lebanon. The detailed breakdown provided by the Ministry aims to document the scope of the damage sustained during the ongoing hostilities.
