“Let it be the last time,” Tahiri-VV stated: It’s unreasonable to present international agreements in this manner; time is needed.

Tahiri voices concern regarding the presentation of international accords. Gazeta Express reported on April 2nd, 2026, at 11:13, that Alliance for the Future of Kosovo parliamentary group leader, Besnik Tahiri, strongly criticized Vetëvendosje’s approach to submitting agreements for a vote. He emphasized the necessity of receiving adequate preparatory details beforehand.

Tahiri asserted that “this must be the final instance” where Vetëvendosje delivers these accords to parliament in this manner. He acknowledged the Alliance’s support for the ratification of international agreements. However, he deemed it wholly unreasonable to rush such documents through parliament without sufficient time for careful consideration, thorough reading, and proper presentation.

The volume of information presented was, according to Tahiri, wholly inappropriate. He stressed the urgent need for time to properly assess the implications of these agreements. It is vital that Vetëvendosje understands the importance of allowing adequate time for review before submitting these documents for a vote.
