LVV wins 50 mandates, accounting for about 70% of the votes from the embassies

The Center for Counting and Results is currently engaged in the process of counting ballots received from voters outside of Kosovo. Following the tabulation of approximately 70 percent of the total votes cast at various embassies and consulates, preliminary results have begun to emerge regarding the distribution of parliamentary seats. According to the latest figures, the Vetëvendosje Movement secured 50 mandates.

Their preliminary tally shows they received 299,526 votes, representing 43.62 percent of the total votes counted, which translates to 50 seats in the Assembly. The Democratic Party of Kosovo finished in second place with 143,770 votes, or 20.94 percent, securing 23 mandates. The Democratic League of Kosovo garnered 117,361 votes, accounting for 17.09 percent of the total, which currently awards them 19 parliamentary seats.

Furthermore, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo received 49,123 votes, equating to 7.15 percent of the total, and holding eight mandates based on the initial count. The ongoing nature of the counting process means these figures are preliminary. Stakeholders are awaiting the completion of the ballot counting to determine the final allocation of mandates.

The initial breakdown of the votes cast provides a clear snapshot of the current political landscape as the final results are processed.
