Multiple Burglary Incidents Reported in Dragash Region

Two separate incidents involving theft and property damage were reported in the Dragash region of Kosovo on May 9, 2026. Police are investigating two separate burglaries. In the first incident, masked individuals were reported to have stolen approximately 15,000 euros from a construction material depot in the village of Buqe.

According to a report filed by a resident, the perpetrators gained entry through a balcony door on the upper floor of the warehouse, forcibly opening a safe located on-site. The incident was confirmed by Shaqir Bytyqi, spokesperson for the Pristina Regional Police. Separately, a similar crime occurred at a warehouse in the village of Dragash.

Masked individuals are alleged to have stolen approximately 15,000 euros and damaged security cameras at the location. Police are currently investigating both incidents. The Pristina Regional Police spokesperson, Shaqir Bytyqi, stated that the Blaq resident reported the Buqe incident at 07:25 on May 9, 2026.
