A religious ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence was held at the “Shën Nënë Tereza” Cathedral in Prishtina. The event was attended by numerous heads of state, including Hashim Thaçi, President of Kosovo; Gjorge Ivanov, President of North Macedonia; Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia; Filip Vujanović, President of Montenegro; Ilir Meta, President of Albania; Bakir Izetbegović, President of Bosnia and Herzegovina; Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović, President of Croatia; Borut Pahor, President of Slovenia; János Áder, President of Hungary; Bronisław Komorowski, President of Poland; Rosen Plevneliev, President of Bulgaria; Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania; Nicos Anastasiades, President of Cyprus; and Nicolae Timofti, President of Moldova. The ceremony honored the centennial of Kosovo’s declaration of independence.
Representatives from several other nations, including the Republic of Serbia, Republic of Albania, Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Croatia, Republic of Slovenia, Republic of Hungary, Republic of Poland, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Romania, Republic of Cyprus, and Republic of Moldova, were also present. The event took place at the Cathedral of “Shën Nënë Tereza” in Prishtina.
