Mickoski Announces Government Changes, Fetai to Step Away
Skopje – Prime Minister Hristjan Mickoski announced planned changes within the Government during an appearance on television channel “Sitel.” The announcement included the departure of Deputy Prime Minister and representative of VLEN, Arben Fetai, from his role in the executive. Mickoski stated that he engaged in a direct conversation with Fetai, during which Fetai conveyed his intention to no longer participate in the Government he leads. “Certainly there will be changes, this is a fact – there will be changes,” Mickoski declared.
Following the conversation, Fetai reportedly expressed a desire to return to Brussels, citing his previous engagement with European institutions. According to Mickoski, Fetai believes his background and experience in Brussels would allow him to continue his professional work within those institutions. The move comes as part of a broader restructuring within Mickoski’s administration.
Details regarding the specific positions affected by the changes are yet to be released. Fetai’s departure marks a significant shift in the Government’s composition.
