“Golden Eco” Unit Reports Significant Progress in Recycling and Environmental Protection
Over the past year, the “Golden Eco” unit, operating under the Frutex & Golden Eagle Foundation, has demonstrated substantial achievements in recycling and environmental protection efforts. The initiative has successfully collected a total of 521,215 kilograms of recyclable materials, reflecting a sustained dedication to promoting a more sustainable environment. Beyond collection, the “Golden Eco” unit has generated a financial return of €64,654.
This revenue has been reinvested directly into the community through targeted investments. Key infrastructure improvements were funded, including the acquisition of 60 recycling containers – each with a capacity of 240 liters – and 20 larger containers designed for 1000-liter volumes. The project’s success highlights the foundation’s commitment to bolstering local environmental initiatives.
The golden standard of responsible waste management continues to be a focus, with ongoing efforts aimed at increasing recycling rates and supporting community-based environmental programs. The foundation anticipates continued growth and impact in the coming year.
