Musliu: Monday marks the end of this government and time has begun to run out.

Musliu Declares End of Current Government Following Citizenship Law Passage

Prishtina – Kosovar Democratic Party (PDK) MP Ganimete Musliu has stated that the current government and its associated power will conclude on Monday, citing the recent approval of the citizenship law as a key factor. Speaking shortly after the parliamentary vote, Musliu expressed significant concerns regarding the law’s implications for Kosovo. Musliu criticized the approval process, alleging a collaborative effort between the Vetëvendosje (Self-Determination Movement) and the Serbian List.

She argued that the law is detrimental to the Republic of Kosovo and poses a threat to internal security. “This law, approved in cooperation with the Serbian List, is exceptionally harmful to Kosovo,” Musliu stated. “The manner in which legislation is processed within the Kosovo parliament, lacking established criteria, raises serious questions about the process.”

The debate surrounding the citizenship law has been contentious, with Musliu’s comments reflecting a strong opposition stance.

The implications of the law for Kosovo’s internal security remain a central point of discussion. Further developments are expected in the coming days.
