Negotiations divided at the level of principal negotiators in Brussels

EU Representative Presents Work Plan for Kosovo-Serbia Normalization

Brussels – The European Union’s Special Representative for the Belgrade-Prishtina Dialogue, Peter Sorensen, has concluded a week of meetings with chief negotiators from Kosovo and Serbia. Agron Bajrami represented Kosovo during the discussions, which took place at the highest level. Sorensen announced the presentations of a detailed work plan designed to advance the normalization of relations between the two nations over the coming months.

The meetings, held in Brussels, focused on outlining specific steps and timelines for achieving progress. “I have held separate and detailed meetings with both chief negotiators in Brussels this week to present our work plan,” Sorensen stated via the “X” platform. These discussions occurred following a prior meeting announced by Kosovo’s Deputy Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca, who engaged with the EU Special Envoy in the Kosovo embassy in Brussels.

The work plan is intended to guide efforts toward a comprehensive resolution of outstanding issues and foster improved relations between Kosovo and Serbia. Further details regarding the specific objectives of the plan are expected to be released in the coming days.
