The city’s new urban train line to the central district is slated for completion by 2027, according to a report published by Gazeta Express on April 6, 2026, at 11:30. The project will feature one station per kilometer. Transport and Infrastructure Minister Aleksandar Nikolloski will attend a test run of the line.
The report indicates that the project’s progress will be reviewed periodically moving forward. The train line, developed by Zelenikova, will traverse several key locations. These include Dračevë, Novo Lisiçes, Kisella Vodës, and Aerodromit.
