Tetovo Resident Files Complaint Over Alleged Visa Assistance Scam
Tetovo, North Macedonia – A resident of Tetovo has filed a criminal complaint against a man from Ohri, alleging fraudulent activity related to visa assistance. The incident occurred on April 6, 2026, at approximately 3:10 PM local time. According to the complaint, the individual from Ohri contacted the complainant in late 2024 to offer assistance in obtaining a German work visa.
The complainant reportedly paid 24,520 Macedonian denars through a firm’s online account on November 1, 2024, with the understanding that the visa application would be processed within three months. However, the complaint states that the visa was not completed by the date of the filing, despite assurances to the contrary. The investigation is ongoing.
