Oil released for 2 cents, MINTI publishes new derivative prices

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation (MINTI) has officially published the revised maximum allowed prices for various petroleum derivatives, effective for June 2, 2026. The ministry’s directive establishes the new cost parameters for essential fuels, which consumers can expect to see implemented starting at 10:00 AM today. According to the newly released pricing structure, the maximum retail price for diesel fuel has been set at 1.48 euros per liter.

This represents a reduction of two cents compared to the rates established on the preceding day. For gasoline, the approved maximum price has been set at 1.41 euros per liter, while the price cap for gas is established at 0.72 euros per liter. These updated prices reflect the current regulatory framework governing fuel sales within the jurisdiction.

MINTI emphasized that these published rates represent the ceiling for transactions, ensuring transparency for the public. Furthermore, the ministry has established clear channels for citizens who wish to submit feedback or raise concerns regarding the pricing of these derivatives. Consumers are advised that complaints can be formally submitted via email to konsumatori@rks-gov.net, or alternatively, by contacting the dedicated toll-free hotline at 0800 11000.

This communication ensures that the Ministry remains accessible to the public regarding any concerns related to the published prices in euros.
