Osman Musliu Enters Vetëvendosje Parliamentary List Following Employment Complaint
Osman Musliu, an imam from Drenica, has joined the parliamentary list for Vetëvendosje for the upcoming June 7th elections. The announcement follows a complaint Musliu lodged six months prior regarding the state’s failure to hire his daughter. As reported by Gazeta Express on May 13, 2026, Musliu previously voiced his concerns on T7’s FRONTAL program, alleging the state had not offered his daughter a position.
He detailed his daughter’s education as a clinical psychologist attained in the United States and expressed a desire for her to return to Kosovo and contribute to the country. During a broadcast on FRONTAL on October 28th, Musliu presented his daughter’s application for employment within the Ministry of Defense. The core of his complaint centered around the state’s decision regarding his daughter’s employment prospects.
Musliu repeatedly emphasized his belief that the state had not adequately considered his daughter’s qualifications. This latest inclusion on the Vetëvendosje list marks a significant development in the ongoing debate surrounding employment opportunities within Kosovo.
