Kosovo Police Issue Over 4,200 Fines During Traffic Safety Campaign in Mitrovica South

The Kosovo Police in the Mitrovica South Region reported a significant increase in traffic enforcement efforts throughout April, with a primary focus on enhancing road safety and preventing accidents. According to a recent announcement, over 4,200 fines were issued to motorists for various traffic offenses. The police highlighted that maintaining public order and safety is a daily commitment within the region, with traffic safety identified as a key priority.

The operation involved intensive checks on road traffic across Mitrovica South. In addition to the substantial number of fines, the police implemented further legal measures. Forty-three driver’s licenses were temporarily confiscated, alongside 50 vehicles, and 42 motorcycles were seized.
