EasyJet Flight Diverts Following Passenger Incident in Mid-Air

An EasyJet flight from Gatwick Airport in London to Antalya, Turkey, made an emergency diversion to Kosovo following a disruptive incident onboard. According to reports, a scuffle occurred between passengers during the journey. Initial reports, cited by Telegrafi, indicate that a woman, believed to be British, became involved in a confrontation with another passenger.

Witness accounts describe a situation where the woman allegedly threw vodka and engaged in verbal abuse. Images captured by a terrified witness reportedly showed the woman attempting to enter the aircraft’s middle corridor in an apparent attack. Cabin crew intervened, attempting to de-escalate the situation.

Two male passengers were subsequently involved in a physical altercation and subsequently exited the aircraft accompanied by security personnel. Due to the disruption, the flight was forced to divert to Pristina, Kosovo, for further assessment. Authorities are investigating the incident, and the flight is expected to resume service once all safety protocols have been reviewed and implemented.

There have been no reported injuries.
